Beautiful place! Safe area to splash in the river, path to climb up to the bridge, camping available. Really great spot!
Currently road from I-25 is totally torn up in preparation for paving. Pilot cars guide you about 5 miles thru soft dirt construction. Camping is suspended until road and caretakers house are completed. No admission or camping fees.
Beautiful, well kept, local secret. Worth finding. Bring a picnic basket/BBQ, bug spray, swim suits. There's also horseshoe pits and volleyball nets. It's a great place to spend the day in the summer.
The Natural Arch and surrounding canyons are breathtaking! Cold water for fishing or cooling off flows thru the arch and around the grassy picnic/ tenting area.
A lovely state park that offers views of one of the only 3 natural bridges in the United States. Camping here is possible but they have limited space available within the park itself. Disperse camping and other commercial campgrounds are also available in the area. You can swim/walk under the bridge or use the trails to get to the top as well. It is nestled inside a canyon and the road to get there is gravel and narrow in some places so drive carefully.
Insanely cool and unique.
NO DOGS ALLOWED!!!!!
Other than the no dog rule, this is like the coolest city park you've ever seen. So quirky and peaceful and beautiful
